Norman Humphrey, Chief Executive OfficerNorman Humphrey is a Chartered Accountant with twenty years professional and commercial experience in the entertainment sector. He specialised in the music industry until 1986, when he left the profession to work as CFO for The Palace Group of Companies. In the late 1980's Palace was the UK's leading independent film production and distribution business, responsible for such titles as "Scandal", "The Crying Game" and "Absolute Beginners". It also had extensive interests in video retailing, post-production facilities, television commercial and drama production. In 1992 Norman set up his own consultancy business and for eight years provided specialist services to the UK production and distribution communities. His clients included BBC Worldwide, Chrysalis Films, Film Four, Hammer, Icon Entertainment, Mayfair Television, PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, Scala Productions, Tartan Films, and Universal Pictures International. In 1998, he created the theatrical distribution software, the Movie Accounting System, MACCS, which remains today a cornerstone application used by most of the UK's independent film distributors. Warner Bros has licensed the application for the world ex US and variants of the system are used in Europe by Columbia-Tristar, and Twentieth Century Fox. In 2000 Norman joined The Works Media Group Plc as Finance Director. |

Costa Theo, ChairmanCosta has been involved in the film industry for several years, and has produced two films for Milcoz Films Limited. He has experience in the legal, financial and creative aspects of the film business, being involved in projects from development, to finance and distribution. He has also arranged and deployed the print and advertising funds used to market films. Costa has been a senior executive of the Theta Group since 2005, and has been involved with aspects of tax planning, corporate merger and acquisition, property development, the finance and construction of wind turbines in the energy sector and setting up retail businesses over the internet. |

Crispin Barker, Non-Executive DirectorCrispin Barker has extensive commercial experience across businesses as diverse as print, property, and media. He started as a trainee with Marks and Spencer and then in the mid-seventies joined Hobbs packaging, acquiring it in 1982, founding Little Orchard Estates two years later and then selling them to the NMC Group in 1986 - where he was the main Board Director until 1991. Specialising in retail and residential development and trading, he next established Socknersh Investments Ltd. Since the late nineties he has acted as Chairman to both the Whitchurch Group plc (wholesale butchers) and Ferrum Holdings plc (engineering). From 2002 he has been Chairman of The Works Media Group. |

Domenico Procacci, Non-Executive DirectorDomenico Procacci is one of Italy's most successful filmmakers, having produced or co-produced some 50 films in the last 20 years. His most recent production is "Silk", starring Keira Knightley, Michael Pitt and Alfred Molina, which will be released worldwide by New Line in 2007. Domenico has produced all the films of Italy's leading director Gabriele Muccino, including "The Last Kiss" and "Remember Me", both significant box office hits in Italy, and he is currently producing Muccino's English language debut starring Cameron Diaz and Jim Carrey. Other credits include "Respiro" by Emanuele Crialese, Paolo Sorrentino's "The Consequences of Love" and "The Family Friend", both in competition at Cannes, "Dust" by Milcho Manchevski, "He died with a felafel in his hand" by Richard Lowenstein and most of Rolf De Heer's films, including "Bad Boy Bubby", "The Quiet Rroom", "Alexandra's Project" and, as executive producer, "The Tracker" and the recent "Ten Canoes". A number of his films have been sold by The Works International, and "Ten Canoes" is being distributed in the UK by The Works. Domenico became the second largest shareholder in TWMG, and joined the board, in January 2004. His company Fandango also operates as a book publisher and record label in Italy. |

James Atherton, Non-Executive DirectorJames Atherton initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before entering the film industry in the late 1970s working on a number of independent films including "The Tempest" (Derek Jarman), "Scum" (Alan Clarke) and "Sweet William" (Claude Whatham). Following this, he became director of a highly successful UK film finance company which specialised in the tax based equity financing of films. In the 1980s he was involved in raising funding for more than 25 feature films with budgets totalling in excess of US$500m. Titles included two "Pink Panther" films, "The Honorary Consul", "Yentl", "The Mission", "The Far Pavilions" and "Evil under the Sun". Following the phasing out of capital allowances for films and the introduction of Section 42 and Section 48 reliefs, he has advised several international banks involved in the film and television business and has specialised in the valuation and sale of film catalogues including the "Salkind" catalogue ("Superman", "Santa Claus" etc), EMI, Paravision, DEG, Hammer, Viking, Virgin and Amaya. He has advised on a number of UK tax based investment structures with particular reference to their commercial application to the international film industry. As a principal of Surefire Films he raised tax motivated equity funding for a slate of 4 films with budgets totalling £25m. |

Jane Wittekind, Head of DevelopmentJane started her career in Acquisitions at Thorn EMI Screen Entertainment and was then Head of Development at David Puttnam's Enigma Productions for many years, working with directors such as John Frankenheimer, Hugh Hudson and Robert Lepage amongst others. She joined The Film Consortium, now The Works Production, in 1997. |

She started her career in the hotel and catering industries, joining the Westcliff Hotel as a receptionist in 2000. She has since trained as an Events and Marketing executive, and successfully assisted the Westcliff in this role. She joined the Works in 2008. |
